HERACLES project will design, validate and promote responsive systems/solutions for effective resilience of CH against climate change effects, considering as a mandatory premise a holistic, multidisciplinary approach through the involvement of different expertise

ACCELERATE is a Marie Skłodowska Curie IF-Project that aims to develop a rapid and affordable technique using Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) to retrieve climatic information preserved in the elemental composition of marine mollusc shell carbonates.
PARTHENOS stands for “Pooling Activities, Resources and Tools for Heritage E-research Networking, Optimization and Synergies”. It is inspired by the name of Athena Parthenos, the Greek goddess of wisdom, inspiration and civilization.

Lectures from experts on modern laser diagnostic and analytical techniques, as well as on laser cleaning methodologies will be combined with practical demonstrations and laboratory hands-on sessions. Two days of field tests and experiments on-site at selected monuments in Crete is also foreseen.
Laserlab-Europe, the Integrated Initiative of European Laser Research Infrastructures, understands itself as the central place in Europe where new developments in laser research take place in a flexible and co-ordinated fashion beyond the potential of a national scale.
