Second Best Poster Award in “Instrumental Methods of Analysis” (IMA-2021)

Congratulations to Lambros Spanos (Chemistry- Univ.Crete / IESL-FORTH), Panos Siozos (IESL-FORTH), Aggelos Koropoulis (IMBB-FORTH), Niklas Hausmann (Niedersächsisches Institut für historische Küstenforschung / BioArCh Univ.York), Malin Holst (BioArCh Univ.York /York Osteoarchaeology Ltd), Pavlos Pavlidis (ICS-FORTH), Demetrios Anglos (IESL-FORTH / Chemistry- Univ.Crete) for being awarded the 2nd poster prize in the IMA-2021 conference for their work on “LASER-INDUCED BREAKDOWN SPECTROSCOPY (LIBS) COMBINED WITH MACHINE LEARNING MODELS AND NEURAL NETWORKS FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF HARD TISSUE REMAINS”.
This research was carried out as part of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship to N. Hausmann, project ‘ACCELERATE’ (Grant No. 703625).
