Maria-Eleni Konstantinou is a master’s student at the Materials Science and Technology Department at the University of Crete. She studied chemistry at the Chemistry Department of the same university. She joined IESL -FORTH for her thesis concentrating on the spectroscopic characterization of inorganic pigments using diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. She is currently performing her master thesis examining the detection of organic residues on archaeological findings with surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy.
