Photonics for Heritage Science
The alumni of the Photonics for Heritage Science (PhoHS) group at IESL–FORTH comprise the individuals who have been formally associated with the PhoHS group. Through their research activities and subsequent professional paths, they have contributed to the development and dissemination of advanced photonic and laser-based methodologies for cultural heritage science. Their work reflects the interdisciplinary nature and international reach of PhoHS across academia, research institutions, and industry.

Dr Maria Roumpou is an archaeologist specialized in archaeological science and a Research Associate at IESL – FORTH.

Evdoxia Dimitroulaki is a physicist and a staff member at IESL-FORTH

Papliaka Zoi Eirini is a chemist and holds a PhD along with a MSc in Conservation Science of Artworks and Monuments.

CHANGE ESR Athanasia Papanikolaou has defended her thesis titled «Portable multimodal system for measurement and monitoring of cultural heritage objects» at the Warsaw University of Technology 9th of February 2024.

Since 2005, Eirini Bernikola has been an active member of the Applied Holography and Metrology Laboratory.

Dr. Kyriaki Kosma holds a PhD in experimental physics and specializes in ultrafast laser science, femtosecond molecular dynamics, and laser–matter interactions; she is currently a member of the Institute of Plasma Physics and Lasers.

Dr. Vassilis Papadakis is an Assistant Professor at the University of West Attica.
