The PhoHS team presented at the colloquium organized by the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation.

The PhoHs group of the Institute of Electronic Structures and Lasers – FORTH was honored to participate in the Colloquium on “Traditional and Innovative Techniques in the Protection and Promotion of Monuments“. This event was organized by the Πολιτιστικό Ίδρυμα Ομίλου Πειραιώς (Cultural Foundation of the Piraeus Bank Group) and the Laboratory of Cultural Heritage Materials & Contemporary Building of the School of Architecture of the Technical University of Crete, in celebration of the European Conservation Day 2024.

Dr. P. Pouli, along with several invited speakers from the field of conservation and restoration of monuments, shared insights on both traditional and innovative technologies. During this opportunity, she presented our team and discussed the role of laser technology in the study and promotion of monuments and cultural heritage objects, using examples to highlight practices and challenges.
